All of the surgeons are members of the National and International Cosmetic Surgery Associations, have been awarded the title of “Specialist in Cosmetic Surgery” by the Tunisian Medical Association and Federal Council of Medicine Training and French Medical Associations and Tunisian Society of Plastic Surgery.
	For many years, Tunisian surgeons have been recognized worldwide for their experience and their professionalism in plastic surgery. The path in becoming a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Tunisia involves many years of training in a multitude of fields:
	• 5 years at University to graduate as a General Doctor. • 2 years rotatory residency. • 6 years General Surgery, Plastic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial postgraduate degree involving the following fields: • Surgery for burned patients • Surgery for burned patients • Reconstructive Surgery • Paediatric Plastic Surgery • Microvascular Surgery • Maxillofacial Surgery • Reconstructive Oncologic Surgery • Implantology • Body & Face Plastic Surgery

	The complete process takes on average 15 years to become an accredited specialist and be part of the Tunisian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery which is the Tunisian equivalent of the French Board of Plastic Surgery. Every plastic surgeon must then participate and gain further experience and accreditation in as many National and International courses, fellowships, congresses and seminars in order to widen their knowledge and expertise throughout their professional life.
